Wake alarm did not sound
- Heavy Sleeper requires iOS 26 or later. In Settings > Apps > Heavy Sleeper, allow Alarm access.
- Also allow Notifications for supplemental backup layers.
- Confirm the alarm is enabled and the Alarm screen says it is armed.
- Check the iPhone’s hardware volume before bed. App Store apps cannot secretly raise system volume.
- Keep the phone charged and powered on. Alarms cannot run if the device is off.
AlarmKit system alarms can sound through Silent Mode and Focus. iOS always provides its own Stop control; Heavy Sleeper then opens the selected wake mission to add dismissal friction.
Alarm is easy to stop
Apple requires the system Stop control. For stronger follow-through, choose a movement, light, typing, memory, math, photo, or QR mission and use multiple backup layers. No third-party iOS app can remove Apple’s system control.
Premium products do not load
- Confirm the device has an internet connection and is signed into the App Store.
- Open Settings in Heavy Sleeper, choose Pro, and reload products.
- If you purchased before, use Restore Purchases from Pro or Settings.
Alarm plans or notes disappeared
Heavy Sleeper stores alarm plans and notes locally. Reinstalling the app, resetting app data, or restoring a device without its app data can clear local plans.
